CSS Tutorials

CSS:
 Short for Cascading Style Sheets, is a new feature supported by many newer browsers.  It enables designers to use dynamic transitions or effects without creating a graphic or using complex dhtml codes.  effects.



This tutorial will be using the <span> tag for the text effects, seeing as
its really easy to use with text.

Introduction

This is just an example of how you can change fonts, sizes, weights, and other things using the <span style""> tag.

Shadow

The shadow filter gives you a sort of blur shadow.  Not quite a drop shadow, but sorta a motion blur type of shadow.  You can change the color of both the text and the shadow.

Glow 

This filter creates an outer glow for your text.

Motion Blur

This filter blurs your text.  It's a pretty basic filter, but if you combine it with other filters, you can get some really nice effects.

Wave

Alone, it doesnt look all that great, but in combination with a motion blur and a glow, it looks really good.  Check it out.

This isnt specifically a text effect. The PROTAGONIST shows a text gradient in a table gradient
